An 87-year-old cyclist died in the city of San Rafael, Mendoza, after being run over by a car, according to the newspaper Los Andes. The victim, identified as Eleonoro Bustos, was traveling north on Ballofet Avenue and was struck by a Peugeot 208 driven by a 33-year-old man when he reached the intersection with Montecaseros.

There, medical professionals diagnosed him with bilateral pneumothorax, pelvic fracture, and severe cranial trauma. Eleonoro Bustos was admitted to intensive care and unfortunately passed away around 4 PM, the same specialists confirmed.
